The Urgent Call: Building a ‘Nexus of Good’ in the Organization

In every organization, there exists an unspoken truth - Good people don’t just make the workplace better—they make it unstoppable.

Yet too often, these very people—driven by integrity, empathy, and commitment—are left alone & isolated and their impact is diluted by bureaucracy and collusion of shrewd people, which often led to the quiet erosion of enthusiasm in them. If we truly want our organization to flourish leaps and bounds, we must create something powerful and deliberate: a ‘Nexus of Good’.

Nexus of Good is not a committee or group; it’s also not a campaign. It is just a ‘living ecosystem’ where people with strong values, positive energy, and the will to make a difference in the organization find each other, support each other, and multiply their impact. They don’t wait for permission to do the right thing; they also don’t work for appreciation, applause or award but they quietly keep on doing the things which are right and necessary for the organization.

In layman language, we can think of ‘Nexus of Good’ as the organization’s moral and cultural nerve Centre—a place where holy ideas are nurtured, good works are appreciated, encouragement flows freely, and collaboration replaces competition. Here, the "good" is not a side project. It’s the beating heart of how we work.

I strongly believe that ‘Good People Deserve to Thrive, and not just to Survive’. In many organizations, those with integrity and vision are often overburdened or sidelined because they are "too busy doing their assigned jobs" to play politics. A Nexus of Good will shield them from burnout & conspiracy and will empower them to succeed amid all challenges.

An organization without a Nexus of Good is just like a tree with shallow roots—one strong storm comes and it falls. But when good people come together, connect & protect each other, and amplify their work, the organization doesn’t just survive but thrives, and become a force of positive source of power in the industry and the community.

So, let’s create a ‘Nexus of Goods’ – a living ecosystem of good people to bring good things and practices in the organization – to build an organization where our ideas don’t get lost in the noise of the fakes; where people celebrate our good works and victories; where doing the right thing doesn’t make us a lone hero but makes us part of a winning team.

Let’s stop leaving the good mere to chance; rather let’s build our organization in the way we want to build it. Because when the good in an organization grows stronger than the challenges it faces, success is not just possible—it becomes inevitable.

With building of this Nexus, our morale will soar, collaboration will ignite, Innovation will flourish and our organization will grow like never before - not just in numbers, but in pride. We will be known not only for what we achieve, but for how we achieve it and that reputation will be our greatest asset.
